Of course, we still offer our custom individual scanning services for mounted prints, slides and negatives. Restoration is available for those precious heirloom photos which have become damaged or are just showing their ages.

To use our shoebox scanning service, print and fill out this order form and bring your shoeboxes full of photos to the store, or ship them to us. You may pick up your photos and CD or DVD at the store, or choose to have us ship them back to you.

The Details

• Shoebox Scanning is an automated scanning process, available for photo prints only, not slides or negatives.  All prints must be submitted at the same time; our workflow does not allow for add-ons.
• Photos for automated scanning must be unmounted, not torn or bent, no smaller than 2½ by 3½ inches, and no larger than 8x10. Mounted or thick photos, such as Polaroid and Kodak Instant Photos, may not feed through our equipment. Such photos must be handled as a custom scan. You may choose to have us do a custom scan and charge you, or for us to return the photos unscanned.
• Please remove photos from envelopes.  To separate groups, insert a labeled index card.  We will scan that along with your photos.
• Our scanning resolution is 300 dpi. Use these files for prints up to twice the size of the original picture.
• For duplicate CDs, if multiple CDs are needed for the original order, the fee will be $4.99 per copy x number of original CDs.
• By submitting photographic prints or other materials to MotoPhoto, you agree that the value is no more than the cost of scanning the same quantity of photographs. That is, if MotoPhoto would charge you $90 to scan your pictures, the maximum amount of damage you may claim is $90. Except for such agreed value, MotoPhoto will not be liable for any other loss or damage, direct, consequential or incidental to the your use of such services.
• We honor photographers' copyrights. If you submit photos that are the identifiable work of a professional photographer we will return them unscanned, unless you provide us with the written permission of the photographer(s).
